PULAI SPRINGS RESORT PLAYS HOST TO STARS OF AKADEMI FANTASIA SEASON 5

Johor Bahru, 27 July 2007 – Stars of Akademi Fantasia of Season 5 visited Pulai Springs Resort recently. Most of the stars and the Astro crew were here to perform in the Akademi Fantasia Charity Concert, held at Pekan Nenas. The event was graced by Dato’ Seri Ong Ka Ting, the Chairman of Malaysian Chinese Association (MCA) on 15 July 2007. Akademi Fantasia is Malaysia’s first reality show and believed to have brought major changes to the Malaysian entertainment scene since it was aired on Astro Ria back in year 2003.

The highlight of the event was a performance by Mawi, from Season 3, who is among the biggest names today and a graduate from this academy. To spice up the concert, participants of Season 5 from Akademi Fantasia joined the performance. Among those included Aswad, Farha, Dekha, Rizal, Fatin, Dafi and Mila, who was the first female champion for Akademi Fantasia.
