AN ORIENTAL TREAT AT PULAI SPRINGS RESORT

Johor Bahru, September 2007 – The Resort’s award-winning Chinese Restaurant, Qing Palace sincerely invite you to be our guest for an Oriental treat which is a combination between Szechuan and local style. The master chef’s personally recommended various dishes to pamper your taste buds. These luscious dishes include Double Cooked Duck Meat in Szechuan Style, Braised Chicken with Bitter Gourd, Stewed Garoupa Fish in Singapore Style and Stuffed Prawns with Salted Egg Yolk & Sotong Paste*.

Tribute to the restaurant’s signature dish, Camphor Smoked Tea Duck, the master chefs strongly recommended the Double Cooked Duck Meat in Szechuan Style, tender duck meat fried with Szechuan chilli sauce which gives you a spicy and sour perk. Try also the Braised Chicken with Bitter Gourd, chicken meat stir fried with black mushrooms and garnished with chillies & spring onions. For a localised taste, enticed with the Stewed Garoupa Fish in Singapore Style with sliced carrots and mixed vegetables to add on more nutrition to this high protein dish. Prawns’ lover can indulge with the Stuffed Prawns with Salted Egg Yolk & Sotong Paste*, a mixture of minced carrots, spring onions, sotong and salted egg wrapped with beancurd skin nicely and deep fried. Leaving it crunchy and an irresistible feel which you wish to have another bite of it again.

Johor Bahru, September & October – Enjoy up to 50% marked down for the weekly value buy promotion at Qing Palace Chinese Restaurant on recommended food item during each week. To start off, first week of each month serves Stuffed Egg Skin with Vegetarian Goose & Mixed Vegetables. This hearty dish is well blended with mixed vegetables, vegetarian ham and celery wrapped with beancurd and egg skin for only RM15++ per portion now.

Next, second week of each month, Double Boiled Fish with Vegetarian Apple Soup at RM 8.80++ per portion now. Finely sliced fish fillet stewed with sweet red apples and herbs, with this you will have a taste of East-Meets-West.

Followed by, third week of each month, at RM 7.80++ per 100 gm now simply enticed with the Live Garoupa; depending on the preference of the guests the cooking methods vary which are either steamed, fried, with garlic or in sweet & sour.

Towards end of the month, fourth week, Deep Fried Home-made Beancurd with Thai Sauce at RM 18++per 100 gm. Our master chef specially self made beancurd and deep fried served with Thai Sauce. The texture of the self made beancurd is soft and smooth. After deep frying, the skin will be crispy and the fillings remain soft. The sweet and spicy Thai Sauce complements the crispy beancurd.
